FireFox OS

Mozilla is introducing the new Mobile Operating System i.e., Firefox OS. Firefox OS enables the Open Web as a platform for mobile devices.

Firefox will produce an implementation of new Web standards to free mobile platforms than from the existing proprietary platforms.

It also provides the customization for OEMs and operators. OEMs and Operators will be able to provide content and services across their entire device portfolio, regardless of the OS.

Firefox also provides number of opportunities for the developers. Using HTML5 and Mozilla's proposed standards, users can easily develop apps. This doesn't need to learn native APIs.

With Firefox, Web is the platform. So it doesn't need any native API to be learnt.
